The livery yard is a family run business with us living onsite. Our main aim is to provide individual needs to every horse to the highest standard possible. Our liveries are the centre of our business - happy horses = happy owners = happy staff! Simple!!
S K Equestrian offers DIY, assisted DIY, 5 day Part Livery, 7 day Part Livery, Full livery, Competition livery and rehabilitation livery.
DIY - we provide you with a stable, storage and the use of facilities and grazing
Assisted DIY - tailored to your needs... you only pay for what you use from our list of services
5 Day Part Livery - same as DIY except we do full care of your horse 5 days a week except grooming, riding and tack cleaning. We provide bedding, ad lib hay, quality feed and stand with farrier, vets, dentist etc. The 2 days you do your horse doesn’t have to be the 2 days every week and can be changeable.
7 day Prt Livery - as 5 day part livery but everyday.
Full Livery - as 7 day part livery but includes exercise, tack cleaning and grooming.
Competition Livery - as full livery but includes preparation for shows.
Rehabilitation Livery - we work closely with your vet for the best recovery for your horse following injury whether it’s on the walker, hand walking and rehab ridden programmes.
The yard is set in a quiet rural village of 100 acres of all year turnout. We believe that horses are herd animals and should therefore be kept that way, splitting mares and gelding into social groups. Winter grazing is rested all summer and vice versa to allow the fields to rest and recover promoting the best grazing and turnout space.
Individual rehabilitation pens are available for individual turn out post injury.
